2009 FIELD MARSHAL EXPECTATIONS

1) Remember you are tracking playing time for each team and there as an observer in the event of any controversy. Remember you are not to intervene concerning the game, let the Referee's manage the game.

2) Please arrive early enough to get the clipboard and/or worksheet from the concession stand and be ready for the player check-in which is scheduled to occur 10 minutes prior to the start of the game. (Off of the field)

3) After recording player information, please be sure to double-check that only rostered coaches are on the player side and that coaches have their sportsmanship cards with them. If a coach is not on the roster, politely ask them to view the game from the parent’s side.

4) Next have the referees check in the players and equipment.

5) Prior to the beginning of 4^th quarter (or equivalent of at U14 games) the coach & referees are to be notified of any players who still need their required playing time. Players MUST have a minimum of ½ the game. Playing time recorded by Field Marshall is NOT disputable thus coach must play/substitute such player into the game.

PLEASE do as much as possible to ensure that ALL games start on-time.
